Join us in the shop to explore the thoughtful process of hand sewing. Together, we’ll build skills and community as each participant creates their own sturdy, useful trifold needle wallet, stitched entirely by hand.
This class is designed for anyone new to needle and thread—no prior experience is needed at all. It’s a supportive space for fellow makers to learn and grow. We’ll cover the foundations: how to thread a needle, tie sturdy knots, and use beeswax to condition your thread. You’ll learn three foundational stitches (the running stitch, backstitch, and whipstitch) as you assemble your wallet.
We’ll provide a complete kit with everything you need: coordinating cotton fabrics (exterior and lining), felt for the interior, thread, and a handmade bias tie. You’ll get to choose from three different fabric combinations. We’ll focus on thoughtful construction and creative finishing for a beautiful, long-lasting result.
All tools and materials are provided for you to use during the workshop—just bring yourself!
