Fiber Arts for Kids! (8-12 y/o)

This one is just for kiddos aged 8 to 12 years old!
**3 weeks, 2 hours each class**

By the end of the class, students will have hands-on experience with three fiber arts and gain confidence creating with yarn.

(All supplies are provided)

Day 1: Crochet Basics
Students will learn how to hold a crochet hook and yarn, make a slip knot, and create basic stitches. 

Day 2: Knitting Basics
Students will explore using knitting needles and yarn, learn how to cast on, and practice the knit stitch. They’ll work on a small swatch while learning how knitting differs from crochet.

Day 3: Weaving Basics
Students will learn the basics of weaving using simple looms made of cardboard frames. They’ll explore patterns, textures, and color choices to create a small woven project
