In Enfield, Illinois in April of 1973, a creature that became known as the Enfield Horror attacked a child. Unclear as to whether or not it’s a demon, alien, or genetic mutation, the Enfield Horror was described the being as having no less than three legs, as well as grayish, slimy skin, short claws and reddish eyes. The creature stamped on the feet of the child, shredding his tennis shoes. Later that night, the dad would encounter the Horror and shoot it. The evidence of the encounter was some dog-like footprints, with 6 toe pads, and showed that it indeed had three legs, one being slightly smaller than the others. It returned a few weeks later, but kept its distance a bit more than the initial encounter.
