Class : Sweater Shrug: Intermediate Knitting

Join us at the Shop for this Intermediate 4-Week Knitting Workshop! This course is perfect for knitters looking to take their skills to the next level and create a custom fit Shrug-style Turtleneck Sweater.
*4 weeks / 2hrs each class*

If you’ve survived our beginner course, we encourage you to level up and learn some amazing new tricks!
(Basic knitting skills are required. Experience knitting in the round is helpful, but not necessary.)

All supplies are included! We use Scout yarn for this garment!

Skills you will learn and use in this course:
*Provisional cast on
*Backwards loop cast on
*German short rows
*Magic loop
*Increases
*Decreases
*Seaming

Week 1: Introduction to sweater construction, choosing yarn and needles, and taking measurements. Learn the cast on methods, and begin to create the neckline
Week 2: Begin working into the body, learning increases and armhole shaping
Week 3: Connect the panels and working your sleeves
Week 4: Working the hems & adding finishing touches
